Common Machine Productions came to GWAV in need of an identity for their growing video and web production company. In keeping with the inspiration behind its name, Common Machine wanted something that referenced the bygone era of gargantuan computer processors, but wouldn't feel dusty.
We developed a mark that harks back to the modernist iconography and logos of the '60s and '70s, while abstractly referencing the analog dials of old computers and recording equipment. The logo's concentric form and notched outer ring give it a sense of circular motion that can also be easily translated into a rotating, animated "bug" for branding video content.

Painter Adam Neate gives great insight into his creative process and the idea of letting go of your creations once you've made them...
A good friend of Groundwave brought our attention to an amazing new organization that's bringing about social change, called The Girl Effect. The design is lovely and the cause is quite simply...awesome.
Since flexible, scalable designs are what we're all about, we also offer a nifty proprietary email content management system called e-Me, which can help you easily (even breezily!) professionally code and deliver email campaigns without knowing a lick of HTML.
